Newly expanded this season, Portavadie Marina’s shop is the place for some retail therapy. You will find stylish shore wear, top brands such as Joules, Musto and Dubarry, fabulous gifts, locally produced treats, children’s games and much, much more. Everything is carefully selected for quality, style and originality. We also have a well-stocked chandlery and a range of basic provisions.

Shore wear

We offer a wide range of shore wear and accessories for women, men and children. From Dubarry to Joules, Musto to O’Neill, this is casual gear of the highest quality.

Our women’s range is bright and breezy, with younger surf-inspired fashion from O’Neill and Animal, stylish classics from Joules and Musto and a country wear section featuring tweed and wax jackets. Men will find casual shirts, hoodies, cargo trousers and board shorts. Finish off the look with a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Our kids’ range includes everything from sunhats to fun wellies, and features Animal hoodies, Joules jackets and our very own ‘Portavadie Princess’ and Portavadie Pirate’ t-shirts.

As well as waterproof sailing garments, we also stock a selection of active outdoor kit, including walking socks, hats, cycling gloves and buffs.

Gifts

With fine Scottish soaps, nautical trinkets, great Scottish books, unique jewellery and gadgets galore, you are sure to find something to please the man or woman in your life. Our own Portavadie-branded products, including candles, t-shirts and hoodies, always go down well. Creative games, books and toys will keep the kids happy. The kites, frisbees and beach games will be just as popular with the adults! We also have greeting cards and postcards.

Chandlery

Our chandlery offers everything from waterproof sailing gear by Gill, Dubarry, Musto and Henri Lloyd, to specialist items such as fittings and charts. Pick up a pair of deck shoes, invest in a new top-of-the-range waterproof jacket, replace your old lifejackets or get hold of that marine grease you need. If we haven’t got what you need in stock, we can normally order it in for you.

Food and provisions

We stock all the basic food and provisions you will need, so don’t worry if you forget your toothbrush. During the summer season, we introduce a range of locally produced food including fine cheeses and Argyll Smokery products. We also have treats made by local producers, such as Fyne Preserves, Arran Oatcakes and Chrystal’s Shortbread. Well, you are on holiday after all.
